HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
Alright so 2009 is upon us. And lets just say i'm quite glad that 2008 is over. Well its not as if 2008 has been a totally BAD year, just that its time to move on and look forward. But let me just spend one post looking back at the past year.
I kinda had lots of ups and downs for 2008. I can say i did accomplished certain things, But i've made mistakes at the same time.
Highligts of the year ( that i can recall at the back of my mind)
Silat IVP 2008.
It was quite an experience i must say. In 2007 i was a spectator, looking at fights thinking how it would be like if it was me in the ring fighting. This past year, I managed to get in there myself. Though i did not manage to bring anything back for TP, I accomplished a personal milestone.
Sports Club 2008.
I Certainly didn't plan at the start of the year to be involved whatsoever with SC. But its a decision, a step that i took and never regretted. I Really have learnt alot working with my other committee members for events.
Internship
Another unexpected thing. I must say i gained alot from my 6 months of internship with JDW technologies. Going in as a total greenhorn, Everyone taught me something that i could take away and learn from. I still am a greenhorn in the industry but i certainly have picked up a tool or two to help me survive!
GPCD Volume II
No one will understand what this is actually. But personally this was THE SINGLE BIGGEST HIGHLIGHT of my year. Think, having your name published as an Author (or more of contributor) to a directory that is being used by the petrochemical industry in the arab region. And think, of having copies being sent to companies so far, that i only hear of the countries in World Cup Qualifiers. US, Netherlands, Germany, Brazil, Peru, Japan. I'm happy this happened.
DALANG & SUTERA
The two pentas i went for. Dalang being RJC's Pentas and Sutera being TP's. I'm a fan of plays to be honest, be it english or malay, And i found both pentas to be different yet i liked both. Dalang was just a simple play, good storyline, good characters and i liked how they used the props at the end. Sutera on the other hand, was a full MAG production. Drama, Dikir, Dance and Silat all involved, making it quite a spectacle though i found the storyline Slightly weaker. But i still enjoyed attending both nonetheless.
AND AND OF COURSE MY YEAR WON'T be complete without my friends right? they made life so pleasent when it felt like i was fighting a war with myself.

Yep Bro, 2007 Was our crazy year. Hangout, Chillax and pool every other day if i remembered. I know 2008 was slightly hard. It was difficult cause of the change in timetable, internship and shit. But hey you're still my buddy man! Thanks for making my birthday memorable this year. Must have been the most filling dinner i had this past year :D

Another Bro, I shouldnt repeat what i just said. So same goes to you like what i said to Amin. The difference is that i enjoyed most part of the lame malay jokes with you. Like you said, its just not the same among us when i'm not around. No one to laugh at the lame malay jokes? PERANGAI PE? HAHA. we shall sing indon songs all day long next time ehhhhhh.

The one thing i remember the most about you is...... MARINA STARBUCKS! eh seriously thanks for just chilling and lunching with me when u had the free time. Stadium guard duty pe? haha. BURN THAT FLAG YO! BURN! haha. classic.

World Champ web designer! soon to be at least. One of the persons im closer with in class. Thanks for hearing my complaints! entertaining my nonsense and putting up with some silly things! okay maybe not some. A LOT of silly things. I would have gone crazy in class and thought certain things about clever people if you were not around. HAHA CHEERS!

I always seem to forget you until like ages later! HAHA but seriously you've been one of the greatest this year. U came down for my IVP. U watched me fight. U went with me to Dalang. Weekly Friday prayers. What more can i ask for huh!

I like working designs with you! yes yes! we must instill some creativity and originality! no more OLD FASHIONED-ness. hehe!
Sherlyn! gosh ur like my personal assistant lar! thanks for coordinating EVERYTHING. From Meetings to human resource to events like CCN DAY. I really am appreciative for all that you have done for sports club and for publicity dept. And most importantly thanks for being sucha nice friend! letting me bully you during Perfect Night! welcome back from your holiday in CHEENALAND!
