Don't we all just love this!Mengikut kiraan hisab anak bulan ada di atas ufuk Singapura setelah terbenam matahari petang tadi selama 23 minit. Oleh yang demikian sukacita saya mengisytiharkan bahawa awal Ramadan bagi 1429H, jatuh pada esok hari, Isnin, bersamaan 1hb September 2008. Saya mengucapkan selamat berpuasa kepada seluruh Muslimin Muslimat Singapura.

My wish for this Ramadan is that I really do remain calm amidst all the adversaries, be it at work or anything else in my life. Let my eyes be open to all things and people who are more unlucky than me and let me be thankful for what I already have in my life. And also to distance myself from unprofitable activities. I hope to be able to rise above all the challenges and temptations during this holy month.
