why trains are important in singapore.

HAHA. yes yes very very important. I was more late than ever this morning. Lesson started at 8 and i reached at close to 9 ( lets just put it that way). While Afi and Amin would not be new to this,(haha no offence dudes) this is totally unchartered territory by my standards. HAHA. AND as usual if i'm late seri is always either 2 minutes ahead or behind me. HAHAHA. So why so late?

For once i didn't over sleep.. Cause lovelt brother was awake. BUT BUT as i was walking towards the overhead bridge near the MRT station (as i always do) i saw this MASS of humans at the 15 bustop, and probably LINES AND LINES of buses - 5 to be exact. Thinking nothing of it ( well okay i did think that something was wrong. haha) i crossed the bridge and realized that the MRT station was EMPTY. And just as i was piecing together the puzzle (my brain is generally slower in the morning since i just woke up) the news update came on the radio ( yes i was listening to Dan and Young. as usual). There was a disruption of train service between where else.. but pasir ris and tanah merah in BOTH directions. Talk about suayness.

And because of that, there were shuttle buses between stations(thus the scene described earlier). AND THAT.. made traffic situations along most of tampines' roads to be close to standstill(okay, exagerration). So "clever" shar (note the air quotes) decided to wait for the TP shuttle bus thinking it won't make a difference to decide to take 15 to school.( cmon who don't want free bus rides). So he waited... and waited... and waited... and waited... and waited.. AND waited. HAHA it was 7.50a.m when i first started waiting.. which would technically mean i will reach school in time still for class. But because of the massive truckloads of buses on the road, the TP bus arrived at like 8.25? haha yes half an hour wait .( not that i wanted to be in class that early anyway). And to make matters worse, Singaporeans really don't know how to follow instructions. They held an sbs bus (which i assume is gonna ferry passengers heading towards pasir ris) and kept asking the driver (yes one at a time mind you). AND THAT.. held the traffic all the way back. And that bloddy slip road(the one beside MRT.. the small one lane one) being a slip road.. means no other cars/buses could pass the one BIG SBS bus lar. Kiasu singaporeans.

It was funny however, to hear all those people calling their colleagues and boses going "aiyo.. there is soo many people at the bustop" hahah hilarrious. And Thus, i was 50 minutes late for class (oops i just revealed it). What a way to start your week HUH! hahaha but shar is still happy he encountered this experience. Goes to show the power of our transport system. When the train fails.. its chaotic :):)
